Unity Health CAMP

CAMP: Careers and Medical Professions

Program Purpose:

CAMP is a special summer program designed for high school students who are interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare field. The program offers students opportunities to participate in medical-related activities such as first aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills.

Additional Learning Opportunities Include:

Unity Health facility tours

Guest speakers

Shadowing medical personnel

Disaster drill

Healthcare job preparation

Mock interviews

Requirements:

GPA of 2.5 or higher

Completed application form

Two letters of recommendation

Current school transcript

Short essay explaining interest in CAMP

Personal transportation to and from CAMP each day

Cost:

None

Times:

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lunch provided

Prerequisite Courses:

There are no prerequisite courses; however, some biology knowledge is helpful.

Event Date: June 11-15 (students entering 11th or 12th grade)
